Corina is Head of our Real Estate and Natural Resources and Energy practice with broad transactional expertise in energy, mining, regulatory and real estate matters with a special focus on renewable energy, mining and waste disposal.  Over the last few years she has been involved in a series of large scale energy projects and represented some of the largest developers and mining operators in Romania.  Currently, she is acting as legal counsel to one of Romania’s largest waste management companies, including advising on the new legislative and regulatory environment in Romania.

She is a leading expert on commercial leasing issues in Romania and has worked for some of the largest retail and commercial entities in Romania, including the Iulius Group (Romania’s largest shopping mall developer).  In addition, she has acted as general counsel to Romania’s largest fashion retailer and has handled such matters as new product licensing, consumer issues and operational regulations.

Corina has worked in various industries, including acting as counsel (on secondment) for one of the world’s largest tire manufacturers.  In this role, she advised on a variety of legal issues, including distribution and supplier agreements, environmental matters, labour disputes and other general corporate issues.

Corina has acted as the team leader in energy projects and counsel to Romania’s largest mining operator and has been involved in a series of real estate matters (including negotiating with the public authorities) and mining regulatory issues (water authorization, environmental permitting and waste disposal).  One of her projects lead to the firm being named “Energy Law Firm of Year.”

More recently, besides her work in analyzing the impact of newly adopted legislation in relation to waste management/packaging, she has been advising cybersecurity legislation.
