Mihai is a senior member of the Firm’s arbitration and litigation Practice, specializing in civil, employment and insolvency litigation and proceedings. Mihai is one of Moldova’s “up and coming” arbitrators, with excellent knowledge and experience with national and international commercial arbitration.

Mihai’s recent experience includes representing an international investor in a complex multi-million Euro arbitration in front of the Moldovan arbitration courts as well as representing one of Moldova’s leading banks with a series of claims against the bank regarding its AML and KYC procedures (this is the leading case of its kind in Moldovan history). Other cases have included representing a European software developer in a multi-million Euro arbitration claim against the Moldovan State with regard to the unwarranted termination of a software development agreement.

Prior to joining Vernon | David, Mihai worked with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova.
